I come from a dance background so was looking for something to maintain my overall fitness and was daunted at first by the idea of using weights for the duration of a class. However, you can take this class at your own pace and over the last year I have gradually increased my weights to where I feel comfortable. I get a complete aerobic workout from the Hour of Power, as well as building muscles I never knew I had!!

I started the Hour of Power after being recommended by a friend. I used to do most of my training in a gym or running and was used to working on my own. However, after trying the class out, I found that it pushed and worked me to my limit and has helped push past this, to find a new level of complete fitness. I cannot recommend the Hour of Power style of workout highly enough and would urge anyone to give it a go.

I genuinely couldn't recommend a better training method or regieme that is more intense and fulfilling than the hour of power. My sport is football and after competing at U21 international level for two years and playing semi proffesionally for over five years i have experienced many training methods through training camps across europe and i have not come across an exercise class that is similar to the hour of power.
After being recommended by a friend i tried out the class and was amazed by the fitness level required. The astonishing fact about the hour of power is no matter what your fitness levels are from amateur to elite you can take part in it. By simply adjusting the weight in which you participate it can be used as a fat burner or a whole body toning exercise. Personally being quite a fit person i have found the hour of power has pushed me to new levels in peak fitness which gives me the advantage of competing at a higher level of sport. I now use the hour of power twice a week to maintain peak physical form with the best part being after the intial few sesions the recovery time is almost instant allowing you to take part in other daily activities without aches or pains.

I have found the Hour of Power class a fantastic way to cross train, i always thought i was quite fit and have tryed various training methods over the years but the intensity of this class has taken my fitness to new levels. I have more energy thoughout the day and i am improving with every class i take.

The Hour of Power truly is the toughest training both physically and mentally that i have encountered. I have played premier club rugby in New Zealand, the training was intense and my level of fitness had to be what i thought was near peak for me to remain competitive. However, since i have been doing the hour of power on a regular basis, my physical condition has improved dramatically. After the first couple of sessions, the body can recover without feeling aches and pains which allows you to train more frequently. I recommend it to anyone who desires better physical condition, and can guarantee that it will test anyone in ways that no other training method can. |
